The melody is a romanian folk song, most played by shephards on their flute. this instrument have a 1500 years history and do not follow our chromatic scales. the last factory productions was done by the romanian producer Hora.

This Melody was rearranged 1906 by the romanian composer Grigoraș Ionică Dinicu. The Melody is international public Domain!

Wikipedia:
Grigoraș Ionică Dinicu a Romanian violin virtuoso and composer of Roma ethnicity. He is most famous for his often-played virtuoso violin showpiece "Hora staccato" (1906) and for making popular the tune Ciocârlia, composed by his grandfather Angheluș Dinicu[1][2] for "nai" (the Romanian pan flute). It is rumored that Jascha Heifetz once said that Grigoraș Dinicu was the greatest violinist he had ever heard. In the 1930s he was involved in the political movement of the Romanian Roma and was made honorary president of the "General Union of the Romanian Roma".

Research and analisis rearrangement did took me close to 6 Months in historic documents.

i set the speed to 170 BPM and it goes to the limit a trumpet player is able for Staccato. You can try it :-)

This version is total different from the arrangement!
Melody was transposed to Bb to be able for a very rare arts whistler.

Musicians:
Marcus Schmidinger is the Vienna Whistler!

During recordings it was discovered that Marcus is not only a true horn virtuoso, but also an excellent whistler with an incredibly homogenous timbre over a wide key range of approximately two octaves. As an aside, so-called “art whistlers” echo an Austrian tradition of the 19th century when they would perform in Viennese community theatres, vaudeville shows and cabarets.

For the Drums i did choose no real percussions. They are foley footsteps placed in an underground tunnel to give a room feeling and sound similar to the wings of bats.

All Romanian are a little bit vampires and draculas.

My plan is to set the music and also derivates of my arrangement to CC-BY-SA license. Just communicate in front with me.

I did the complete work with Davinci Resolve Fairlight and Unify. Plasmonic VST was used for microtonality.

Important: I plan a complete album with a lot of variations and special a Binaureal Dolby Atmos Work with a Documentation at YouTube. Please spend me a like and subscription to be informed if you are interested how realy rare instruments sound.
